To produce this list I have visited the blogs of Premium WordPress theme providers to check for announcements on compatibility for the newly launched WordPress 3.0.

About 40% of checked sites had updated to announce compatibility.

WooThemes

WooThemes and WordPress 3.0 have a very special relationship: WooThemes contributed their WooNav code to the new WordPress Menu Management system, which has been built into all WooThemes since May 2010.

Obox

Obox announced they are ready for WordPress 3.0 on the 18th June, issuing instructions on how to activate the WordPress Menu System via their admin panel.

StudioPress timed the release of their awesome Genesis Theme Framework version 1.2 to coincide with the release of WordPress 3.0.

ThemeShift announced 18th June (four hours ago as I write): “All of the ThemeShift themes have been tested and are already WordPress 3.0 compatible! #wordpress”.

To check compatibility yourself you can use the A-Z Directory of Premium WordPress theme providers.

Recieved an interesting email from Premium WordPress theme provider Templatic regarding the new WordPress 3.0 and how it will impact their themes.

As you might have heard,  3.0 version of WordPress might release in just
few days. I am writing this mail to inform you the following.

- We are committed to, and will provide all the update necessary to use
wordpress 3.0 with our themes.
- Beta version of wordpress 3.0 is available but there is no final version
yet. We will only be able to work on the theme updates once the 3.0 final
version is available for download.
- Once WordPress 3.0 is available, we will get started on theme updates
immediately and provide update the themes asap.
- Ofcourse, this updates will be provided free of cost.

If you are using templatic theme, we recommend you not to upgrade your
wordpress install to 3.0 unless you receive theme update email from us.
Most probably, you will hear from us within 2 days from the day WordPress
3.0 is available.
