If you are using templatic theme, we recommend you not to upgrade your
wordpress install to 3.0 unless you receive theme update email from us.

StudioPress have just announced the introduction of a new theme framework: Genesis.

The framework should allow people to create child themes, without having to modify the core StudioPress theme files. It will also allow StudioPress to release child themes, allowing them to speed up development and use a stable core architecture.
